PacNor did two for me, they re-barrelled & applied ceracote, then had a gunsmith near them open up the stock. I have a McMillan and B&C, prefer B&C.

Might want to check the torque on your action screws since you just re-assembled it after the bedding job.

+1 for Burris Signature rings, I've used both original and the XTR(6screws per ring). Running the XTRs on 2 X5s and a Z5. NO binding and the inserts ensure that you never have a mark on the tubes. Tops are aluminum & I ceracote the bottoms along with the pic base.

Thanks, the 4DOF still comes up short. I need to look at the calculator a bit more. How does it correct for sight in pressure/altitude versus current solution? I sight in at around 26mmHg give or take and was shooting yesterday at 24.25 according to my Leica range finder and wrist watch with sensor.

Thanks guys, that gets me closer but still not there. Thinking I might need to chrono at 100yds and/or different chrono. Also should probably verify click value matches actual drops on the scope although at the price they get, I would sure think they should be reliable.

Yes, sight height is caliper measured. Even taking the BC below the mach 1.75 range doesn't get me there.

I am working up two rifles shooting the ELDmatch bullets & having trouble with drops at longer ranges. .338 RUM shooting 285ELDM and 30 Nosler shooting 225 ELDM. Both have sight height verified, scope level, Swarovski X5s on both, Burris sig. XTR rings, using "Shooter" app. Crony used for MV...
