I’m not so much worried about the warranty. I’m worried about missing that trophy buck or coyote if it strikes the endcap. But they fixed it so it’s not an issue. But the way this one was factory the rod barely cleared the 30cal cap. So if I stuck it on my 22-250 with a .224” end cap I would...
Gonna say I definitely agree with that. The single greatest advantage to the core method is paperwork. Like a coreless design if you get a Baffle strike and destroy it they have to file a destruction order and issue you a new suppressor. Which takes longer. With this design and all identifying...
Update:
I received my suppressor a few minutes ago and immediately opened it of course. The very first thing I noticed is that the entire core has been replaced. I can tell because when I first bought my suppressor you could see marring where they slipped with the wrench putting the core in...
I don’t think you can do that. Once that paperwork is filed in your name with the suppressor serial number it’s yours unless denied by the atf. Which is extremely rare
Absolutely. I’m not sore over it. I know it happens. As long as they make it right I’m fine with it. Now if they sweetened the pot with a we’re sorry something or other it would be great. But either way I can shoot it with a clear mind now.
This s a long shot but I also emailed them yesterday like an hour before getting the shipping notice (would not have mattered anyways since they can’t just like send it to me) but I pointed out the fact that they started a BOGO event 6 days after I purchased this suppressor and since I got what...
I just got a shipping notification for the return. So hopefully in a couple days we'll see what they did. Expected delivery is Monday. I can’t wait to get it back!
I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not but I called about my form 1’s and all they told me is “we received them. They are pending”. A week later they were approved and a month later my form 4 was approved. The two form 1’s were approved by the same lady about 2 hours apart. The form 4 was...
I researched a lot before buying my Omega300 but one thing I found is there is a waning group of cans that are bigger than 22LR and still will break down to clean. The industry go to method these days seems to be welding the baffles in place. The reviews on the can seem to say it’s amazing for...
there’s worse things. Got my Omega 300 in 153 days and have to send it in because it’s defective. Haven’t even fired it.
On another note I’ll be taking a rifle and an alignment rod to the store with me if I buy any more.
To be honest if I buy any more silencers I will definitely take a rifle and an alignment rod and check the suppressor out before I even buy it. Had I know more at the time and done that I would have simply said I don’t want that one and tried another one. Then I wouldn’t be sitting in this boat.
