While i dont have much experience with either the 25-06 or the .257 weatherby they are both capable cartridges and they don't have much recoil. Bullets range from 75-133gr load light for predators and heavy for large deer ect. sounds like a do all caliber to me.

I have a 25 wssm that I am very happy with and had it since they were introduced. I have recently put a new Barrel on it. Douglas 9 twist. 115 grain bergers come out of it at right around 3,000 feet per second. While brass is hard to find there are companies that reform it from WSM cases.
I would be very interested in using a facility like this. I'm new to long range shooting/hunting and a class teaching the fundamentals would be a plus.
