well i am a huge fan of the 25-06..i realize it doesn't have the bc of the 6.5's or 7mm's..but out to 400 yds it's pure murder on deer..with light recoil...i guess i'm still wondering...plain and simple...will improving the 25-06 comparing same barrel length...comparing apples with...

was talking to a guy that built a 25-06AI, with a 26" tube ...claims he easily gets 150 to 200 fps more than his standard 25-06 loads...his claim is 3200fps with the 120's and 3250 with the 115 gr BT..without any pressure signs whatsoever, and excellent accuracy..now i can get an honest 3150 fps...
