    How to Improve?

As its been said not sure what you mean by +- .05 grains? If one phase of your ladder test is +- .05 grains I think it will be difficult to measure speed or accuracy consistently. But again not sure what you mean. In some of my rifles as little as +- .02 grains makes a big difference. I assume...

New, looking for advice on new rifle

I can respect that. I am always looking for a reason to get a new rifle. Your reasons are as good as any. Kinda makes me rethink my next build. I don’t own a 338 anything so I think that will have to be my next. Thanks for the insight!!

New, looking for advice on new rifle

You didn’t mention what you plan to hunt, but the rifles that you listed that you currently own should cover any game you plan the hunt In North America anyway. Not being rude or trying to prevent you from buying a rifle but if I owned that list I’d be look in house before I went further...

    What constitutes “inherently accurate “?

Reading this thread I can’t help but wonder. If there’s 100 people sitting at 100 benches in a 100 bench rest compilations and there all shooting a 6 br or a 6 dasher wouldn’t the law of probability say that one of them would win So what’s inherently accurate about that If they shot the same...

Best long range 6.5mm/.264 caliber for hunting deer sized animals

I’ve chosen the .260 because I think it’s a good round and one of my favorites for years. 2nd choice would be my semi custom Swede but it’s not any option.

    Understanding the 308 win

My apologies for not responding sooner. Being a John Deere field tech this time of year makes for a long day. I wish I could go back and respond to each of you but my thumbs would hate me. I thank all of you who have shared input on this cartridge especially load data, other than the pile of...

    Understanding the 308 win

I just traded back for a Remington varmint special chambered in 308. I actually purchased this gun 11 to 12 years ago it was to be my first 308. A friend traded me out of it before it ever fired it. Standing rule was if you get rid of it I want first shot at it, so long story short a decade...

    Load data

I apologize in advance if this has been discussed before, and I’m sorry if it is old hat. I’m looking for a way to keep my load data on my laptop. I’m not a techy so I don’t really know where to look. I’m tired of having books for every rifle and was thinking, there has to be a better way to log...

Ok I am not a big fan of the 6.5 Creedmore

Ok so here we are 12 pages into this and the OP hasn’t showed back up. I’ve never been one to put down one shoting sport to promote another. I think we all need to voice our opinions for what we like or love which ever the case may be. But BLK started this thread to see who he could **** off...
