    Expected accuracy of featherweight contour

i haven’t read all this. Are you using a lead sled? Are you shooting off a bipod? Are you shooting off hard bags? Or bags that hold the rear of the stock? are you shooting prone? My knee jerk reaction is to stop shooting .308 out of a featherweight. There are easier rounds that perform as good...

    Muzzle Brake Recommendation

I have two area 419 hellfire brakes and one 2 port on a 16.5” creedmoor. I have used the lil beast 3 port, the JP recoil eliminator. I have shot several rifles with a Harrel’s brake but not sure which ones, and have shot some radial brakes (kimber and another) but not on my rifles. The 419 self...

What's on your stores' shelves for ammo and reloading supplies?

Sportsman’s in Reno had Gm205m this morning. 4 whole boxes. I got one. Been going every Shipping day for the last 6 weeks trying to get 1000 and it finally paid off. Not much else on the shelves. Good selection of 338 bullets though.

How do You Practice getting consistent cheek weld without putting excessive pressure on the rifle ?

Dry fire and shooting dots. Go slow and do it often. It is a diminishing skill. Anybody can tell something was wrong after the rifle goes off, the goal is to notice it before you shoot, adjust, and make a good shot. . It is a hard habit to break when you feel it in your subconscious but pull the...

    Sod Poodle caliber and cartridge

200 rounds per day I think gets rid of all the hot shots, like .220 swift, 22-250, 22 br and 22 creed. 222 rem is a tack driver, but doesn’t have the steam for 700 yards, and I think any of the .204 and .17 variants will be the same. .223 ai with a fast twist and 70-90g bullets would foot the...

The .44 mag I measured is .453 top to bottom. The 45 acp is a little bigger, being .470

    Bino harness

I’m in for the badlands case as well. Magnets close tight enough to keep out dust, straps keep it tight to my chest and gives some extra pockets for quick access gear. I like mine so much I got one for my dad.

    SOLD/EXPIRED CCI 450

He’s a hack. No way this was for a paper. Dude thought he had gold, tried to take advantage, got shot down and raked over the coals by good people. Then he made up some ******** about research purposes to try and save face. Tar him and feather him. there is no doubt he’s holding at least 8000...

    SOLD/EXPIRED CCI 450

Chicken ****. Then to cross your arms and say I can do whatever I want, there are no rules against it. Decency is against it. If people like you weren’t out to get a quick buck the rest of us could buy in stock components. But by all means, take advantage of your own. *** hat.

I agree that the x seems too big. Wasn’t able to see the mag in the store, it I think that is the way to go. Thanks!

Badlands Bino X or mag D for Leica geovid?

I am looking to get my dad a bino pouch from badlands. I got one a few years ago and love it, but use significantly smaller glasses. time to get one for him. Has anybody used them with the Leica geovid rangefinder binos? I am pretty sure his are 10x but I don’t know if they have the larger...

    NF Scope or Leupold

Mark 5 HD. I like the CCH reticle a better than anything NF offers and I think the glass/coating is better. I haven’t seen the new Kahles, but I have seen the 624i and the mark 5 HD’s. I think I would take the leupold over the kahles.
