I have Fat Bastards on my 223 AR, My Rem 700 7RM, and on my Ruger RP 338 LM. It really knocked down the recoil on the 338.

You guys pouring water down a hot barrel. It sends a chill up my spine. Thinking of thermal stresses being induced into the bore.

This is what I use too. If the battery runs low. I carry a charger battery for it. It will last me all day at the ranger.

I have a 5 port Fat Bastard on my 338 LM. Made a big difference over the one that came on the rifle. I now have Fat Bastards on 3 other rifles.

Think I would believe the sled test more if it was independent, and not a maker of muzzle brakes.

Rounds like .38, 357, 44. I roll crimp. .380, 9mm, 40 S&W, 45ACP. I taper crimp.

I have a Fat Bastard Gen3 on my 338LM, AR 15, and having one installed on my 7RM next month. Really like them.

Think I would get new brass instead of doing the ball bearing trick. The only way I would do it is if the cartridge is really hard to come by. Something like a 6.5x54 MS. Which I have one.

Just read the thread on the Annie. They have a long back log of orders.

I've looked at the Annie as my next step. But I figured I might as well cry once and get the AMP when I can afford it.

The way I look at it. You start out with one method. Then you start to up grade. You stop up grading when you feel you don't need/want anymore, or spend anymore. I have an Annealeeze for now. It's doing the job. Sometime in the future, I would love an AMP. Will I get one. I need/want other...

Started with the RCBS pad back in the late 1970's. Tried just about everything over the years. Back using the same RCBS pad.

I is a engineer. Got degrees in mechanical and welding. I hate engineers for the most part. The ones I have worked with are afraid of getting their hands dirty. If it's not in a book. It's wrong. I wanted to beat a few to death. There is a a few I dearly love. But that is a short list.
