400 yards and less with no time to range targets. No dialing needed. Small targets of opportunity like coyotes are easier to miss with a slower gun.

1in8 twist might limit you to 105 grain class of bullets. I shoot the 105 amax out of mine at 2950 with h4350. The match chamber may be a tight neck so you will need to decide whether you want to add neck turning to your brass prep.

I bought a used UMAR from Cabelas and it performs flawless. I took it prairie dog hunting and it was easy to shoot dogs at extended range. I reload 40g Nosler BT with Tac and it shoots 1/2 MOA every time I shoot paper. I just wish the mags held more than 5 22-250.

I shoot the 40g nosler bt with 28 g of TAC the book says 3700fps and it shoots 1/4 out of my remmy. My Ar with 1in9 twist likes the 53 grain vmax. They have almost as high a bc as the 69 mk but more velocity

I found my best factory ammo for 22-250 in my gun was the white box winchester with 45 grain hp.
