My heavy barrel 6 Creedmoor at 285 yards. Factory hogue stock. Only mods is a trigger job on the hack trigger and added a legacy bottom magizine kit. Had a standard barrel 6.5 CM that shot really well also. Traded it to my father in law a couple of years ago. He still uses it for whitetails.
Roy,
Doesn't like hogs, coyotes, or possums. Great companion for the past 8.5 years. Has Cushings disease, diagnosed a little over a year ago. Will surely miss him when the time comes.

Scheels in Overland Park Kansas had Remington 7 1/2 and CCI 400 SR primers a couple of weeks ago for $59/1000 on sale, but didn't notice any LR primers at the time I was in the store. This is the cheapest price I've seen primers in in recent years.

We toured there factory sometime in the mid 1990's when they were in Raton NM. Great people. They made several barrels for the BPCR crowd in 45 and 40 caliber. A friend bought numerous barrels and are still being used. They performed very well.
I have the same rifle, great little shooter. Try the 64 grain Winchester power point. It should stabilize in the 1-14 twist. I have played with this bullet a little in mine but didn't spend much time with load development. You might give Varget and 8208xbr a try.
