    6.5 build

    Got a Tikka M695 hunter 30-06 which I bought new in 2002 and it's been a great rifle, love the slick action. Anyway I want to rebarrel to a 6.5 -284 or maybe the 6.5-06. My question is will the 6.5-284 cartridge work in the 30-06 oem magazine box, or will I have issues?

    Leupold VX7 vs VX6

    I know the 7 was discontinued but having trouble finding any info regarding these 2 scopes. Does anybody know the main differences between these 2 models . Heard the VX6 uses the same glass as the 7 is this true ? Also read the VX6 is a totally different designed scope than the 7, can anyone...
