    Neither Boyds nor Ramline make a Type 1 stock for a BAR. I checked Midwest Gunworks, Alhmans Numrich and all the usual but no luck. I'm thinking my best bet is to find an old gunsmith with one stashed away.

    Sent my 1970 BAR to a gunsmith and when it was returned it had a broken stock. I've looked in the usual places so I'm hoping for some help from this forum. Wood or synthetic ( I'll need a forearm) is fine. I'd also appreciate any leads. Thanks!
