Wow. Much overbore. But to answer your question, PacNor or Criterion. I personally really like the Sendero Remington profile, fluted, threaded for a brake or suppressor. 1:8 twist would easily handle 147gr class VLDs. Good luck!
I had a B78 that I "awarded" to my nephew. I found that due to the design, I favored a scope with a longer than typical main scope tube. This allowed for better adjustment for proper eye relief. In my case I opted for a Burris scope due to it's longer tube vs the Leupold. The twist is...
The very first Senderos were all blued. This one appears to be stainless (my personal favorite) but I would have called it a Gen2.
There was a small run of Sendero "Specials" in those early years too which only had 24" barrels. I bought one for my hunting buddy. All great rifles IMO.
My guess based on the magazine is that is a BLR-81 (steel receiver), only slightly different from the earlier BLRs and substantially so in the the magazines for the BLR-81 are relatively easy to find. The original BLR magazines in contrast are much more uncommon and thus much more expensive...

It may be that the most valuable thing Remington will be left with is their brand though there may be more equity in other names like Colt. Perhaps potential investors suspected this was a likely outcome after Cerberus pulled their money allowing them to bide their time and be able to pick and...
One of the great Ultra-Mag chamberings and rifles IMO. I found one over the summer on another forum that was owned by a guy who happened (it turned out) to live about 35 minutes from my house! I just got finished with the Area 419 brake install and some other minor gunsmithing on it. I used it...
newmexkid has it exactly right. I sent a Conquest 6.5x20 scope in for service back in April 2014 and was told that now (in August) they are still at least 4 weeks behind. Such poor turn around is unacceptable in my opinion. Perhaps it's because the Europeans take the summers off, I don't...
