I have a old sears single shot .22 that my 10 year old shoots and I have a Rem 597 with a cheap red dot on it. We havent gone out to 200yds but we plink at 100or so and it is fun. Thing is, he out shoots me from time to time with his old single shot.......he giggles and I cringe.......
