I know that Hornady used to publish the "recipe" for ELD Match ammo but I can't find it now.
Does anyone know what the factory recipe for the 147 grain ELD-M 6.5 CREEDMOR is by chance?

Since when did test firing a barrel foul it enough to require cleaning to a bare bore (or "spotless" in your words)?
The only excuse/reason I can even fathom would be using monometal bullets.

8# or so max weight of rifle alone but lighter is better. 7# bare rifle would be ideal.

Check serial number and see what year it was manufactured. Anything since 2000 or so is an instant No Go for me on a Remington product.
They went bankrupt twice for a reason and that reason was ****** or non-existent QC.
Ive got the same rifle (RA Predator in 6mm Creedmor) and it loves ELD-m ammo. 3 rounds in the 0.3's and 5 shots in the 0.5's.
That rifle SHOULD be a shooter!
