  • Hello,

I was reading about loads for 7mm and you seemed pretty knowledgeable. I'm really new to reloading and rifles in general. I'm always shot for fun but I want to get the most accuracy out of my rig that I can get now. I have a Dillon RL 550 and I just purchased a new Tikka t3 lite 7mm mag. I guess i just have a bunch of questions if you would be willing to give me any advice.

For starters, I have a nikon buckmasters 4.5-14x40. Would you suggest using the Tikka rings or use something nicer? Also, I usually shoot with little lead shot bags. Should I get a nice rest to sight in with and shoot with?

I want to shooting 168gr VLD Bergers. Have you found with the Bergers that the bullet is too long to fit in the mag? I'm thinking about using IMR 7828 with CCI primers. Have you used those before?

I'm sorry if i'm asking way to many questions. I'm just trying to gather as much info as possible. Thanks!
