The max mag length is correct. I measured slightly more for my mag length. As for my measurement.... I was listing the base to ogive measurement... As long as my measurement is correct...my lands are at 2.819. So I'm .030 off them and going to work away....

I dont believe I am the issue in terms of shooting. As for seating depth.....i really didnt know where to start...so what I did was find my jam length and backed off by .010.

I appreciate everyone's help. We looked over his rifle....rear ring on scope was loose and wont tighten up.....so hes off to buy better rings.....may finally be able to get this thing shooting right.

His scope is relatively new leupold. It is a synthetic stock. Factory ammo.....shoot around a 2 or 3 inch group at best.
