The question I have is that I'm going to re-barrel my savage model 10 fcp-k from 308 to 260 and can not decide on a barrel length. Should I go with a 26 inch barrel or go with a 30 inch barrel? Contour and taper is not an issue yet, but it will come up later on in the build. Thanks in advance...
After reading some of the post about muzzle breaks here is my thoughts. After 4 re-constructive surgeries on my right shoulder from injuries sustained in the military I run breaks on everything long gun I own. I recently bought a Savage 10 in .223 and put a nice brake on it as well. Yes it makes...

I got it taken care of. Bought a badger 20 moa rail and put on it. Took care of the problem and both MK4's used before were mounted and tested ok. Just got a bad piece, no big deal. Out of all the EGW rails I have and this is the first problem it doesn't even affect my opinion of the company...
I put a EGW 20 moa rail on my savage 10 in 308. Did a quick bore sight and headed out to sight it in. Well with both sets of dials bottomed out the best I could get was 14 inches high and 12 inches left. Checked to make sure it was on right, thick Thanks, P@
