I used one for a few LR F class matches. The higher power was nice when conditions allowed, which weren’t that often. Image quality was excellent as I remember.

Your barrel length isn’t your problem. You tried 4 different primers and 3 different types of brass, yet only a narrow window of seating depth. Try going shorter.
