Burris Veracity 4-20x50mm Riflescope w/ Ballistic E1 FFP Reticle

Logan, I was really hoping that was a spell check error! I am about an hour south of Atwood, in Logan county.

Burris Veracity 4-20x50mm Riflescope w/ Ballistic E1 FFP Reticle

Yeah, I should have been more clear. Also, I forgot to mention that after turning the turrets some, I think that most of the time I would be comfortable leaving the elevation turret cap off. If I were to be sliding it in and out of a scabbard I would want the cap on, but for most of what I do I...

Burris Veracity 4-20x50mm Riflescope w/ Ballistic E1 FFP Reticle

Feenix, I have not looked into all the details of these scopes and what they do or don't come with. This one had Veracity marked on the side of it, the E1 FFP reticle setup in MOA, and the other features that the veracity is supposed to have. It was in the gunshop in Atwood KS if you want to...

Burris Veracity 4-20x50mm Riflescope w/ Ballistic E1 FFP Reticle

It was the veracity for sure, but the prices you came up with off of optics planet are sure a whole lot better than the place I was looking at the scope. They are always competitive with their guns, ammo and component prices, but are not even close on the optics end of things.

Burris Veracity 4-20x50mm Riflescope w/ Ballistic E1 FFP Reticle

I got ahold of a 5-25 yesterday at the lgs. FFP, I think that I liked the reticle pretty well, it was the MOA version, different than I am used to, but I could get used to it pretty easy. I really liked the side parallax adjustment better than any other I have come across. I played with the...

    Anybody from Kansas on here?

I am at Monument KS, south of Colby a ways. I have ground to shoot as far as a person has a chance of hitting with a rifle, though I haven't tried to stretch it past 500 yet. I will vouch for Tyler Flock's work at Atwood, as well. Has been very good for me, quick, and always real pleasant to...

Nosler To Introduce 6.5mm HotRod !!

I imagine it will be something of a barrel burner, but as has already been mentioned LRH is the hot trend now so that will draw a lot of interest. How many hunters will actually shoot 1000 rounds through their deer rifle to burn it out? I know that there are several guys on this site that burn...

    Weaver turrets

Just a follow up to my previous post. I finally got a little time to look at my turret problem and came up with the fix. After taking off the cap, then the marked dial, I turned the turret and it became apparent that the brass screw that holds it down was loose. Got a good fitting screw driver...

The real basics... new to guns how to learn

It would help if you could give an idea what kind of hunting you are looking into. Small game, varmints, waterfowl, big game? This will help narrow down what kind of guns would be most beneficial for you to study up. To get you started I guess Guns and Ammo magazine or Shooting Illustrated would...

    Weaver turrets

Any one have any experience/trouble with Weaver's turrets on the tactical and super slam models? I know a lot of them have to have a little 'wiggle' to get them to set back down after adjustment, but I have come across a different problem. I have been running these sort of turrets for a few...

    Weaver EMDR Reticle ?

Wondering if anyone has experience that they are willing to share in regards to this reticle in the 3-15 tactical from weaver. I have had good experiences with Weaver stuff, but have not been able ot look through this model. I am mainly concerned with how much the reticle 'covers up' at ranges...

    Pack Llama

Outfitter I worked for some in CO taught me how to pack llamas. He told me all you needed to do was cut them in two and throw them on a mule......... Sorry, I just couldn't leave that alone. Seriously, though, I hope they work out for you the way you hope/plan. I have horses I use for lots of...
