Do not chamber your rifle for the warbird. I made that mistake and found that the Lazzeroni brass had wall thickness variation right next to the head of 13 thousandths which caused the head to seperate at the web on the thin side of the case after a couple reloadings. Velocities were also below...

Has anyone used the 80gr berger vld in a 1-9 twist barrel with 223 velocity? I think they will be going about 2750-2800fps.Will they stabilize? Any input would be helpful.Thanks.

Could you guys give me your thoughts on a maximum effective barrel lengh would be for a 30-338 lapua imp. shooting a 210-240 gr. match bullet with powders such as retumbo or 50 bmg. Any thoughts on pros and cons on a 34-38 inch barrel.

Tommy, I also shoot the 223 in a savage 1 in 9 twist. I have had the best performance with a hornady 68gr match bullet, 23.5gr of varget and a Federal Gold Medal Match primer. I am using Lapua brass. In my rifle this load is good for well beyond 500 yards on varmints. I agree with everyone...
