My custom 7-08 doesn't like hornady bullets. It shoots the 162 A-MAX okay. But switching to Berger was a smart choice. You may want to try the 140 VLD's into the lands.

I've tried bullets from 130gr up to 162gr. Nothing shot better than the 140 VLD's with IMR 4350.

My shooting buddy has been trying out the same components in his 300win mag. Hornady brass, IMR7828ssc, 215 hybrids. He walked his charge weights up to 72gr with no pressure signs that I know of. Although around 71gr looked to be one of the best groups, none of them were satisfactory. After we...

I built this oven out of a old locker. The PID controls really well.

My 7-08 load is 46.5gr IMR 4350 with 150SMK's. Same load for H4350. (On my rifle) Work your way up tho. Lapua brass, 24" barrel. Running 2840FPS.

A guy I shoot with sometimes builds rifles. He always has high end scopes with him when we hit the range. I will look through them, so I can compare the optics. For the money, it's hard to beat the Sightron S3.

I ordered a tac30 AW last Friday and had the action on Tuesday from stiller.

I had a rifle doing the same thing a long time ago. It ended up being the scope. It would shoot a couple close, then the next few wouldn't even be close.
