I bought a March F 3-24x52mm for a AnTi 300prc build, using Hawkins Hybrid ring mounts the main tube was maybe .100” too short to fit. Maybe close with an LA AnTi X as well
I usually sleep inside my truck or camp right outside of it. If I had to stay in a hotel I’d bring everything of value in. Always try to keep it in view when I run into fuel stations or restaurants when all my gear is in there.
Watch your scope length with the Hawkins hybrids. The spread was to wide for my March 3-24x52 on a LA AnTi
24” Proof sendero chambered in 300PRC in Manners EH1 with Vortex AMG is 8lbs13oz
Bare rifle with Hawkins rings is 6lbs14oz
If you have a Hornady seating die without the micrometer stem you can just use the screw stem adjustor off that die and it will clear.
I had the same problem with a 300PRC micrometer die in my Co-Ax and just swapped the adjustor with a “custom grade” WSM seating die. Now I have a micrometer WSM...
I just picked up a march. It’s a 3-24x52 FFP with illuminated FML-T1 reticle. It has noticeable CA which I don’t think a scope in this price range should.
It is light at 25oz with The included flip up caps. The reticle is heavy enough for use at lower power with the open center iron cross...
Currently breaking in a new build. I’m getting 2700fps out of my 24” Proof barrel with 300SMK, 87.8 H1000, 215M, virgin Norma brass, 3.600” COAL which is .013” off lands.
Anyone have any data with 250-300 class bullets and R26?
There are savage prefits for 300prc
And the Mausingfield uses the same tenon thread as a small shank savage and those can be spun up for 338 norma mag or 338 Lapua Mag although on a shouldered barrel.
