    Unless you have a spaghetti thin barrel I doubt you could get that much flex that far back. The scope will flex a little, though.

    Spotting scope vs binoculars

    ^^^ +1. I would add that in my experience you can spend much more time behind a set of binos than a spotting scope without getting your eyes fatigued.
