    7prc > 7rm ??

Those things written on the factory boxes are from long barrels that are not factory guns making that top end muzzel velocity best case. I shoot a 7mm stw that's a longer case than that PRC. I've never shot it through a chrono but the charges in the upper 70s and I'm shooting 165gr A-tips to...

7828 ssc what can i expect

It does well in my 7mm stw but I only go up to the upper 160s. I load it fairly hot, but most all my powders perform better with hot loads out of that gun.

    Powder Prices - good lord

It's always been about simple supply vs demand. For the life of me I can't understand why competition hasn't driven our prices down, but the past 10-20 years somethings changed and the pricing just keeps going up. THEY JUST WONT BUILD MORE PLANTS TO PUSH MORE OUT, ITS JUST THAT SIMPLE 🤦‍♂️.

    Best 7mm out there now

Yes, see, that is the problem with that. 7 MM STW because I have one..... hard to find stuff for it, but luckily i have around 250-300 brass and you do need a faster twist to shoot the heavier bullets. Right now i'm trying to stay under 170gr somewhere around the 165gr range. They didn't have...

    New Remington 700's

I'd posted a few months back about the new Remingtons and yes I recall the better triggers.

    22 ARC

Yeah my 22-250....only thing holding it back is that slow 1:14 twist because the case allows for plenty of velocity. I'll probably stick with it and just rebarrel it, 26" barrel and around a 1:8 twist.

    22-250 AI

I use that App a lot, but I just have a plain 22-250 not that 250AI. I'd like to do what he done....maybe not a 1:7....more like 1:10 or 9 so I could still shoot say the 55 or 53gr offerings as well, then top out around say 75gr

What rifles are you planning to use in the 23/24 deer seaon?

My favorite deer rifle is a Remington mod 7600 .270 with 140gr Hornady SST. I've been known to break out the ruger M77 22-250 with 50gr vmax though for those upper extremity shots....head or neck, head or neck!

    Fur Friendly 22-250 Options

That twist I'm a bit jealous of considering Mines a 1-14, but I'd say those heavier bullets at the top of your range for a 1-8 would be better.....non-explosive that is. My guess is those Barnes would be good ones. Hornady makes a couple that aren't BP or HP type bullets as well, better for...

    7mm PRC

Yeah I've been trying to get my hands on that R26 for a while now and can't find it. Fortunately I do have a few cans of H1000 I've managed to come across. I'd take more R15 too for my smaller gun if I find that.

    7mm PRC

Currently I have 100 brand new brass for it and around 100 or better twice fired brass. You can neck down 8mag brass that'll work and there's another caliber I can't think of now but heard it works too. Now if I had it to do over I wouldn't have gone that route. The 28 nosler seems like a...

    7mm PRC

Reminds me of the 6.8 Western compared to say the 270 WSM, or the old Rem. 6mm compared to say one of the 6.5 cartridges out there in that there's not a lot of difference. I think IF I ever were to get a version of the 6.5 I'd have to go with the 6.5x300 just to get a noticeable difference...

    7mm PRC

https://www.gameandfishmag.com/editorial/hornady-prc-hunting-cartridges/479781 Interesting read here about the 7mm PRC if you can Wade through....weed past all the 6mm talk at first of the article. Basically what I gather is it's faster and can shoot heavier bullets than a 7mm but not as fast...

7mm-08 Bullet Choice for Stone Sheep inside of 500 yards

Not sure about those but I do know an older gentleman that's loaded cartridges for many years and the 7 08 is one of his favorites. According to him a Seirra 120 green tip is one of the meanest bullets.

    New Remington 700's

Look up Ron Spomer and his review on the new 700s. It's no longer an economy rifle, barrel upgrades, trigger upgrades, and lots more. They were always known for accuracy out the box but I was happy to see their return with all the bells and whistles this time.
