Man, for about an hour I was ready to jump into a 375 raptor. However I talked myself back from the cliff, and reminded myself I am a huge fan of KISS, and adding another caliber especially one like that is not KISS.

Oddly enough during the last “ammo shortage” my local scheels almost always had 260 factory ammo. So I grabbed 10 or so boxes over time. I don’t think i’ll ever use it all, especially if I try and find a reloaded round to use.

I'm not concerned about the price. They're hunting bullets, I won't be going through them fast at all.

In the past, I have used old Rem Core Lokt. The reason I am looking past them is they did not expand as I had hoped.

I’ll maybe clarify I am hoping to find a bullet that will expand, not explode with a heart/lung shot from 10 feet to 120 yards.

I've had two carbon Hoyts and both have shot great. Currently I'm running an RX7 Ultra. Around 62lb, 28.5" and is a dream to shoot. I'll take it in the field and on the 3D course any time.
