I have been using 224 valkyrie for the past couple of years and have had good luck with 60gr Noslers BT's. Seem to have a little better base in them than V-max, I haven't had a splash with them. I use a 1-6.5 twist barrel.

I don't have near the knowledge of these other guys. But I will share my experience with the 224 I've put together. After looking around and reading what I could find for information I went with Xcalibur for my barrel, 24"1-6.5 twist. I don't reload. I've shot 60NBT, 75FMJ and 88ELD's in it...

How many rounds through it?

Not very experienced at long ranges but if you decide to go to 180-185 class, I'm having pretty good luck with Berger VLD H-185 and H4831.

I contacted Customer Service via email and response was very quick with info needed to ship scope to them. If I'd only been as quick about shipping to them I'd probably have it back by now.

I have the Cabela's Euro(Meopro) in 4x12x50 and 6x18x50. I've had the 4x12 on a coyote rig for a year and really like it. Good clarity and light. 6x18 has only been to the range so I can't say much so far. I do run some ziess conquests also and they do seem to compare to them.

Same issues with a 4.5x14. I noticed it on the range first, I had to re-focus between shots. Then top end got bad. When scope was removed it rattled. I have 3 of them and this was on a 300 wm and has had some rounds under it. I sent it in but haven't heard from them yet.

Have had good luck with Hornady SST 150gr over IMR 4831 and WLM. Then came the powder issues, none! Working on SST 150's over H4350 that is showing promise. Still developing this load.
