    Best factory rifle?

    I've owned a 308 and 300winmag remington 700 5r rifles with replacement triggers...both have shot .5" 3 shot groups at 100yds with reloads. With the factory HS Precision stock, it really works for me. I spend the money I save on a better scope.

    Need a good floating dot type scope for varmints.

    Look at Hawke scopes...they have a reticle that might suite you needs. I have several of there scopes with them. Great to hunt hogs with.
