Thanks for the input folks. I totally concur with dig, Cooper's customer service is next to none, and having the ability to talk to people that work and shoot their own products is key. I would have a hard time believing that in the accuracy Dept. Cooper's wouldnt be next to none with there QC...

Interesting. Reasons? I personally wasn't to find of the 209 primer holding bolt....seems difficult to operate with gloves on.

Have you harvested any critters with those cannelure ABs? I've pulled quite a few slugs out of deer, elk, antelop....and I'm always impressed with the expansion control of slugs with cannelures. SSTs, certain Sierra's, and interlocks. Seems that cannelure creates a more consistent 'folding'...

7rm with 170 grain Sierra's and 7977 did great for me. I too found it to be very clean compaired to many and had good consistency as well.

My primary suets all my needs for hunting rifles. Love TT drop ins.....such nice triggers.

I second the use of RL26 in 7RM. X bolt all weather. 26" pipe. 160 accubond. Stupid consistent and accurate. My ES' we're instantly cut in half upon switching to RL26 from H1000 and retumbo.

Any owners of Cooper firearms' muzzle loader? I've heard great things, but want some first hand knowledge before purchasing.
