During the 60's, Norma released .308 & .358 Norma Mag brass to the American market, even though no American manufacturer chambered rifles n those 2 calibres. Maybe Hornady will follow suite, just offering 6.5mm GAP 4S brass, since the 6.5PRC is pretty close to 6.5mm SAUM in performance.

I guess Hornady are seizing on the success of the 6.5mm SAUM GAP 4s by using their own case design and not having to pay royalties to GAP or use Remingtons SAUM design. Would have been nice if the 6.5mm SAUM designs had become standardised as factory rounds. Oh well I'll just have to keep...

Hi Greg, Just wondering what the feedback has been on the 6.5mm Fatso? I'm currently running a 6.5mm SAUM and pushing the 140 Berger Hunting VLD's to 3100 using 62.5grs Retumbo out of a Remington 700 (using the Wyatts extended box mag). I'm presuming that Retumbo would still work in the 6.5mm...
