This might be a sin, but why not use a 140 grain Ballistic Tip? I've used them out to 400 yards on deer and had great expansion.

Hey Guys I'm getting ready to re barrel a savage of mine and need to know what barrel maker to go with. I've considered Lilja, Krieger and Shilen for far, but I'm open to suggestion.
