Remington 770 (therein lies the problem) in .30-06. Would not shoot for anything. Changed scopes, cleaned, kept dirty. All nope. Got $100 for it.

It depends on what you want to use it on. The Vortex has a pretty long eye relief. Bought one for my lever action and it’s way too long. More for a Mosin tbh. Mine is just sitting in the box.

Started in 1987 with .44 mag to shoot more. No longer load for that, .40 short&weak, .30-06. Do load for 3 pistol calibers and 6 rifle. Don’t want any less or more.

I am Kuiu Nation as well and have verde and valo patterns exclusively as they both fit where I have lived. If/when I mix it’s only because of what the piece is rather than any pattern theory tho. Wear what you have, watch the wind and move carefully has always worked for me.

its the Gila line from Kuiu. Awesome stuff and no face mask like Sitka. The Kuiu work out tops are very similar and work just as good. I’m in AZ and we know hot. 😁

Two years in a row! Card got hit earlier in the week. I know the unit so it’s just whether it’s an “any” or antlerless. Learned a lot last year (which means tag soup) and hopefully can dance better this year.

i have Maybe 90% Kuiu now in my kit. The rest is an even split between Kryptek and Sitka. The warmest pants I have found are Kryptek with long knap fleece inside. Hands down best cold weather pants. They fit nice and loose as well for layering

I agree with the others. A 3600 is too small for anything longer than a night or two at most unless you very very spartan. I have multiple bags but the one I use most is a Big Agnes Spike Lake 15 deg down. Bags all depend on how you sleep. If you wear minimal clothes, then I would rethink that...

Horse ain’t dead yet… Thermocell in the style that suits what you need and big fan of permethrin. It’ll keep everything away.

I would go with Verde. I am of the Kuiu Nation as well. In AZ tho so mostly Valo now. Still use my verde from when I was in Idaho up in the pines here tho. I’ve been switching to their solids lately for double duty out on the town. Solid kit. You do you. Don’t listen to the pshaws on camo...
