If you get one that will id a rabbit @100, you’re going to be able to id coyotes at 300+ and tell difference between deer and pigs at 400+. Detection range of not sure but long way. I’ve seen pigs and deer in wheat fields at a mile or so. Wasn’t sure what they were at that range but detection...

Love my ugly savage 25-06. Varmint contour but standard twist. I like shooting 85gr bt’s fast Take long action, buy a good prefit barrel, stock, machined barrel nut, recoil lug and a rifle basix trigger or whatever. Shoot little holes for under $1500 Northland shooters supply is worth a call

100 gr NBT, 53 gr RL19, Nosler brass and CCI LR primer shoots really well in my 20 yr old savage 110fp
