I need to find your outfitter and book a hunt.

I'm finding Acubond bullets are no good for short range shots at all. Two years in a row I've had shot bull elk under 100 yards with my 300 and they have run away.

Hunting elk in kolorado I have taken animals out to 600 yards. Last two years have both been about 50 yards.

What about the 45/70?

I have a remlin 45/70 that I could absolutely love if it would fire every time I pulled the trigger... I have a Beowulf that I trust. It's a terrible thing to not trust your lever gun...

Take all of them and decide in the morning which one you want to carry 😊
