@ Deer-Sniper, I hunted in the Nepal Himalayas at 5,000 metres to take this Blue Sheep with a heavy rig like yours. My wife and I trekked for 6 days to reach the hunting area, no chopper,car nor horse. Then hunted a week, and trekked back. I do not think the guys that comment your approach have...

I own 3 R8 for PRS ,FIELD TARGET and Presision where the TARGET is 3mm at 100 meters. No complaints with 5.ooo+ a year except they are expensive. Also 1 R93 for huntin, took 35 mountain goats and wild sheep with the 270 barrel, a few hundred plains game with the 8x68 and elephant, buffalo with...

I have both the EL10x42 and the Geovid HDB 10x42. In bad light the Swaro is superior. But as mentioned , the Leica has a wonderfull ranging system.

I hunt with a Blaser R93, just have to change the hunting barrel for a 223 barrel. That I use fors practice. Actually I have just one stock with Atzl trigger and 9 different barrels from 223 till 458Lot.

6xc Berger hybrid 105 .40grs of rl17. Forget the rest! 1in 7.7 twist btw. With a 26"" you come 950+ m/s. I use it for most competitions and LRH.
