    Retumbo is number one in my 300rum H1000 is a close second. Both shoot 210 Berger’s or Amax nicely. My speeds are out of a 30” tube 208 Amax 3205 210 berger 3189

    Yeah I am going to try the 265 or 277 after I get back from my Idaho bear/ Wolf hunt in April. I am getting 1/2” moa now with Amax’s. But I feel the rifle can do better. The biggest problem with the rifle is the shooter.

    Bergers can be very Finnic on the setting depth. For hunting I started with .01 off the lands and worked backwards. Ended with a .255 jump for the accuracy I was happy with. A year later I have started going for 3/8” MOA. And I am .005 in to the lands. Using a sharpie and coating the bullet...

    From 93 grains of retumbo up to 96 I got keyholes. 97 grains got good clean holes but ran into pressure signs So now I have 40 300 grain paper weights
