I have a couple LW set ups... .243, .308, and a .338 WM. The lightest is 6.5 and the .338 is 7.5lbs (scoped).
None are really "custom", all are Stainless Rem 700s.. The .243 and .308 are Gander Mt Guide Rifles. The .338 WM is a KS Mt Rifle.

Good info.. I have been working up a 210gr Partition to just over 2900 fps. I really like the accubonds in my other rifles.. They are cheaper than the partitions so I may have to get a box or two of the 225 Accubonds..
I have some 250gr Partitions I was keeping as my bear specific round...
What is your question? That is a good bullet, but it all depends on what you are shooting... Metal, animals (if so what kind?)..

The McMillians I have seen are light and strong... So have the old TI stocks Rem ran that were by B&C.. I'd be happy with...

Dragging up a thread that is almost 5 years old.. What are folks thinking in regards to the Belted Magnum Collet Resing Die ? Been reloading the .338 for a little while with cases that are 3-4x fired. So far no worries. ?? What am I missing?
