I have a couple LW set ups... .243, .308, and a .338 WM. The lightest is 6.5 and the .338 is 7.5lbs (scoped). None are really "custom", all are Stainless Rem 700s.. The .243 and .308 are Gander Mt Guide Rifles. The .338 WM is a KS Mt Rifle. Nice trio of rifles... Not counting optics I have...

Good info.. I have been working up a 210gr Partition to just over 2900 fps. I really like the accubonds in my other rifles.. They are cheaper than the partitions so I may have to get a box or two of the 225 Accubonds.. I have some 250gr Partitions I was keeping as my bear specific round...

What is your question? That is a good bullet, but it all depends on what you are shooting... Metal, animals (if so what kind?).. I shoot the .338WM with a 210gr Accubond as my all around load... Never had gotten around to trying the Accubond in my .338, but have great sucess with it in...

True enough... I differ with you a bit in that I like the Rem 700 in a Blind magazine... The rest I am not set on... I like the 7mm RM, but would look at others.. The McMillians I have seen are light and strong... So have the old TI stocks Rem ran that were by B&C.. I'd be happy with...

Nice looking set up. Are you using factory ammo or reloads? If reloads, whats your favorite load? Also, why the rail? I have always just done Leupold or Burris mounts. What advantage does the rail have over standard mounts? Not knocking your choice just trying to understand what the rail...
