As the title says, because im growing bored of my local range. They have gongs set up out to 550yds. And they are spread out all over 3 ridges, im looking for a flat long distance range.
Thats what i wanted to hear sorry if i sound like a sissy asking all these questions about recoil. I just dont want to drop the 5k in a rifle scope combo and not be able to shoot it.
sorry for that retarded question. at first i thought you said adl .270 so i figured that was some form of a wildcat. so you think the .270 is comparable to the .338 lapua?
well i have a monte carlo stocked .270 win with a heavy contour barrel about 24'' long not sure on the contour# as it is the factory barrel. and it has a decelerator kickpad. so im not sure what the .270adl is it more powerful than a regular .270?
so basically i should just order a bunch of lapua brass and those bullets? becasue they are great for paper punchin?? beacuse that and gongs is prolly all im going to shoot for a year
"Hoppes #9" where can i find that at? And yes recoil is one of the main reasons why i am leary of a magnum. because i would like to avoid acquiring a flinch.
i put wd-40 on it and scratched at it and it got some of it off, im gonna keep wd-40 on it for awhile. and about barrel life,as i dont have any idea as to how many shots have been through it, i myself have put approx. 50 shots through it.
I cleaned my rifle today and noticed there is a pretty big patch of rust on my scope ring. Is there anything that can take this rust off before it gets worse?
and did remington ever put monte carlo stocks on there factory rifle?
