I have heard that RL-22 with 110 AB made a great load for the 257 Ackley. I have not been able to find any data for this bullet-powder combo. Can any of you give me info on this? Thanks Hank

I have a standard 6.5-06. I shoot 120gr Sierra FB with 57.5 grs. of H4831. It kills our south Texas deer and hogs stone cold dead. It is a great cartridge and I am sure the AI version would also be great. I have a 257, 25-06 and 280 Ackley's and really love them. Good luck!!!!

I have heard that you can loosen your decapping stem and let the button free-float. Do you recommend this practice to fix the out of position button? Thanks

Need some advice men, what pet loads do ya'll recommend for 257 AI with 110 gr. AB? H4831 looked good for velocity and load density. Have already formed cases. Used to shoot IMR 4350 in my standard 257 and liked it. Thanks for the help as usual, Hank

Thanks for all the help and explanations. I believe that this reamer was origanally for 155 match bullets. That would fit the problem that has been sited. The velocities that I have gotten, 3600 fps with 92.0 grs of AA8700 and 140 sgk, 28" bbl, make me think that it has some freebore or at...

I have had good results with 150gr. Scirroco and 76gr RL22. I have not heard much about this bullet, but it has performed well for me in two different cartridges. What is the general opinion of the Scirroco? Hope this helps and look forward to any comments on this bullet, Hank
