You say you can shoot it for a few rounds OK. Instead of changing your load I would put a sand bag on my shoulder at the bench to sight it in. If you can't get it sighted in with a sand bag then start dropping bullet weight in your loading. I sight in my 338 RUM with a sand bag on my shoulder...

I have used 120gr NBT for many years. Even took a TC Encore pistol in 7-08 to Africa for plains game. Many animals one shot kills. Antelope in Wy out to 264 yds. Great little cartridge.

I'd stick with the 7mm and load up some 150gr Hammer Hunter bullets. You will never look back and if you can shoot straight, tracking will become a lost art..
