    I just bought a Weatherby mark-v accumark 338-378 and a swarovski scope PV 6-24x50 and talley mounts and rings went and shot 20 rounds throw the gun and the scope moved about a 1/8 inch forward so I took the gun up stair to the gun smith and he ask me who mounted the scope and I told him...

    Question on twilight factor how doe\'s one read the numbers? Twilight factor on a scope what do these numbers mean or how do you read them like on a Swarovisk PV 4-16x50 twilight factor 11-28. And on a PV 6-24x50 and a twilight factor 17-35 what doe's it mean? Thanks Gabe

    Wish I would have ask more scope question I got a 6-24x50 swarovski with TDS-4 that cost me $1800.00 I should have got S&B 6.5-24x56.

    Well according to weatherby and there fatory ammunition with 200gr Bst 3350 fps and the energy is 4983,and with 225gr barns-x 3180 fps and the energy is 5052,and with a 250 partition 3060 fps the energy is 5197. and thats with a 26inch barrel according to weatherby.Gabe

    Doe's any one know of a other gun company that makes this caliber rifle other than weatherby or should I try 338 lapu.The rifle will be used the hunt deer from 200-600 yards shooting over open fields in michigan.Thanks GABE

    I'm sorry I did mean to start any problems every thing everyone had to say was interesting.With all the schools I went to at Ft benning Ga I wish I would of went to the sniper school from the sound of every one to better under stand.

    Use guy's hurt my feeling's I thought weatherby is a good gun or one of the best till I got on this web sight I thought there was nothing better than a swarvoski scope but I would rather save my money because of good advice thank you doe's any other gun company make a 388-378 weatherby cal rifle?
