What powder are you using in the 6.5 PRC and the 123 ab.? I have been using R26 with the 140-156 withgreat results, but now have some 123 Absolutes , and have R23 I was thinking to try, or H4831sc?

Great info. I use R26 in my 6.5 PRC,with great results, but never in the creedmore, how would it work for the lighter bullets such as the Hammer 124 Hunter, in the 6.5 Creedmore?

I too love the 6.5 PRC, almost the perfect cartridge, But I went to the 7WSM, on my elk rifle , to get alittle more enegy. I extended the throat .0015, to seat the Hammer monos out alittle farther, and utilize more of the case capacity, If you can get someone to reload for it , it is an awsome...

My 260 AI, with Bartlien barrel 8T, really likes R19 , and the Berger 135 VLD classic. sub MOA, Although I have a 6.5 Creed,and it is a very efficient cartridge, I dont know that I would chose one over the other,unless you just tinker in the reloading room as I do. Good luck!

Thanks guys , have R16, will give it a go! I use R26 with the 124s in 6.5 PRC, works great with larger charge wieghts! Great velocity! 3350 fps.

I have the Ziess v4 6-24 on my top three rifles now, love them, Redhawk rifles has a demo. sale on them occasionlly, 900$ +-. cant beat them for the price, return zero is spot on, crystal clear, I chose the simple cross hairs, no clutter, no ellumination.

I have done that several times myself, but needed to pay special attention to trimming. still cant chamber the newly formed brass in a 300wsm, so no worries!
