The Sauer 101has the typical heat/pressed barrel as do all their other models except the 100. The 101 is a very accurate and not too heavy (same for the 100). I have Benelli and Franchi shotguns and love them but not their rifles. I also have a Bergara 6.5 cm Premier Elite that shoots lights...

Once you learn how to use the 5700 elite you'll never part with it. I bought mine when it was around $500, so have had it for a couple years. When you get the correct data input for each gun, it is spot on. Is it worth it? Absolutely. Need to get an accurate muzzle velocity and use G7.
