    6.5 gas gun fine tuning

I have never crimped anything and I have never been able to manually move a seated bullet seated with Lee seating die

    6.5 Grendel

Having experience with the 308, Grendel and 224 valkyrie I developed a preference for the Valkyrie for accuracy at distances where the grendel failed to live up to it’s hype. The 6.8SPC case gets more performance out of same powder charge it seemed to me, but then I’m no expert.

    6.5 creedmoor to 6.5 grendel

I would suggest you consider a CZ 527 in 6.5 Grendel. Mine was simply fantastic and would be perfect for a minor child

    Newbie reloader question

In thousands and thousands of successful reloads I have NEVER crimped. Hornady says not needed unless tube magazine is used

PSA 300 BLK upper, any good?

I built a psa 300 blk pistol with 7.5 barrel and it is very accurate out to 100. 150 yds. Best load for me has been 110 gr vmax on top of 19.5 grains of H 110

    Carbon in unfired barrel?

I reload a round using reduced powder and add some crushed walnut media. Then seat a bullit and shoot it. Makes barrel look like polished chrome

    Lapua tight primer pockets

On loose primers I put nail polish on the case head to seal the primer then swipe off excess with cloth with a touch of acetone on it

    Best case lube?

I too use unique after trying others. It takes so little and easy to keep off the shoulder. For inside neck I just scrape a tiny bit of residue off a finger about every fourth case and no problems after 3 years.

Try 1.25 reading glasses for iron sight work

Is the 243 the best whitetail deer cartridge?

In the end it’s all about shot placement

    Reloading for a 6.5 Grendel

I got good results with hornady 123 gr set using 27.3 grains of h4895. 200 yds grouping was very good. As for factory, Fed premium gold medal Berger 130 gr put 3 rounds through touching holes at 200 yds. Doug in New Prospect SC
