    As with many reloads if your problems are like this go to small base dies that will generally resolve the problem and be sure you are fully seating the brass into the die as to manufacturing instructions. that should end your problem.

    We have used the 165 gr Sierra btsp for many years we have five sons and we hunt yearly I have no idea as to how many deer this bullet has harvested but our sons started hunting at twelve and are in their 40's now.     My grandchildren have been using my 257 Roberts to take their mule deer its shooting 117 gr Hornady spbt interlock. This rifle has been deer hunting from me to my children to now my grandchildren the bullet has never failed and shots past 325 yds.
