I did notice the extra weight but considering the caliber and an excuse to hit the gym I just went for it. BTW thanks for reminding me.

One more thing most of the hunting here is within 300 to 500 yards. I am using a Meopro with a BDC reticle on top of 308 Tikka and the longest shot was an Ibex taken at 363yds. So I want to try hunting turrets with a plex reticle. Presently looking at Zeiss ASV!

Thx for the suggestions. My only use is hunting and that also would be for Ibex, Markhor,Nilgai and Marco polo sheep.

Hi , I am planning to buy a 300 WM and have selected Sako 85 Long range. The decision was based primarily on my experience with Tikka T3 which happens to be a very accurate rifle and secondly the barrel and muzzle brake offered on the Sako. I would be grateful if anyone could share his experience.

Hello. I plan to go for an Ibex(Himalayan) next weeks any advise on the matter are welcomed. I plan to take my .308 cal Tikka T3 and use 150 gr nosler partition Norma bullets .Shots are taken at a distance of 200 to 350 yds normally anything closer is always LUCK.
