That’s a stud blacktail, I am still trying to figure them out. I have two spikes to my name so far, I’d call them foot hill bucks, this year I plan to move higher in elevation and target some cascade bucks. Here is this previous year’s buck.

I looked at a CA messa today in 28 Nosler and really liked the feel of it.

Is there much difference between the 6.5x284 and the 6.5prc? The seem pretty darn close to me. I love my Norma, but it’s a darn heavy gun to be packing all around the wilderness for a week at a time. On the bright side if I picked on up in the prc, I could just use my existing stock of bullets...
