I'm going to start off by saying I don't know what it is but I like carbine length bolt-action rifles. Are there any matches that you can only run a 16.5 inch barrel bolt gun.
I'm in AZ too. Now that I'm older and have some other issues I just try to avoid shooting in the summer unless it's at the range, indoor LOL. But the ammo in the cooler idea I'm going to have to remember that one
I dry fire practice with my carry guns often and it definitely helps out. I'm assuming this would also carry over into long range shooting. Do any of you gentlemen get any dry-fire practice at home.
I do have a couple of rifles that are the buy once cry once variety. But this whole build me and my son and buddy got going on it's just for kicks. If and when we decide to take it to the next level I'll buy something top shelf . Just like you said most of the time I'm all about budget
Thank you for your offer sir but my buddy told me this morning that I should not purchase/do anyting scope related. Attached to his comment was two thumbs up and a huge smiley face. So I'm guessing I'm going to be receiving a package soon.
I'm the only one with a 783 I'm on a tight budget. So far she seems good. So you can pick up a picatinny rail from Talley for 35 bucks I can see that in the future if they're worth it
Does anybody have suggestions on a set of scope rings $50 or under. They will be for a picatinny rail no MOA cant 1 inch tube. It'll be going on my 783 6.5 Creedmoor.
