    I posted this on an earlier thread. this is a 210 VLD shot at 3080FPS at a mule deer. The internal damage was good for me, bad for the deer. He ran about 40 yards. I would like to see better retention from a bullet. I have seen 5 critters killed with the VLD deer and elk. Only one pass though...

    is 360 yards too close for bergers?

    this is a 210 VLD recovered from a Mule deer at 320 yards. Shot at 3080fps. Hit behind the shoulder. He gave the death kick and ran 30 yards. No pass through. My gun also killed another deer at 426 with the same results. Where is the core of the bullet?

    H1000, 210 VLDs and a 300RUM

    I have been shooting 92 gr of retumbo and getting 3080, with a 210 berger, as an average, but my velocity spread is a little much. about 90 FPS. H1000 is what i am trying next.
