I have the engage model that is all black. I would buy one of those in the same magnification and reticle if I could get a deal. I think they look good and the glass is crazy good for the price.
I am not an amputee but did work with the Warrior Transition Battalion before retiring from the Army. I have worked with dozens of amputees and have a sense of your frustration. Hard work and not quitting. Thats it brother. We had double amputees climbing mountains and going on hunting trips all...
BC is THE determining factor for charting and predicting bullet performance downrange. Unless of course you want to fire hundreds of rounds and walk them into long range targets until you figure out how many clicks or how much Kentucky windage you need. It is literally the starting point for...
It may seem a bit early but if you break down your year into training cycles it makes more sense.
I am jumping the gun a bit though. February is what I really mean to begin your strength training cycle. This is the time to develop your big lifts and create a strength and power foundation to...
In a 16" I would still go 308 shooting either 165/168 or 178 variety of ammo. I do this and still manage 1000 foot pounds out to 600 yards with 178s without hurting any accuracy.
Good organizations putting this stuff out but the test numbers, and number of individuals used, are far to small to call it doctrine at this point. It its all you got, rock it! A great, not good, cardio base will serve you the best. Athletes used in these limited tests are generally already in...

Elk: 42 yards
Elk (bow): 8 yards (yes, thats my longest)
Antelope: 242 yards
All rifle kills with 178 ELD-X from a Ruger American Predator in 308. No complaints for the rifle or bullets.
I doubt most hunters, or even most shooters, are actually getting consistent 1/4" groups. No cherry picking allowed. At some point it would turn from showing off harvested animals to holes in a target. One matters a lot more than the other. I do submit that my average group size did NOT increase...
Ive been able to maintain load consistency over 4 types of brass: Hornady, Federal, LC LR and Match, Winchester.
There has been no real difference in impact locations, group sizes or pressure signs (none).
