Bushnell Forge 3-18x50 VS Vortex PST Gen 2 5-25x50

Yup! Can't beat that! I guess I have to decide if its worth $500 extra for the PST gen 2 over the Strike Eagle. I still need a good amount of western hunting gear and $500 clams could go a long way.....

Bushnell Forge 3-18x50 VS Vortex PST Gen 2 5-25x50

Same here. I have yet to read or watch a bad review of it. Seems like great glass for the price. But yes, not illuminated.

Scope choice on first LRH rifle - Tikka T3x 6.5Creedmoor

Thanks gr8fuldoug! I have not considered Meopta but I will definitely have a look at this one. Sorry to let you down cohunt. 'Smoke pole' is a general gun reference around my camp. I would love to see a guy build a 1200yd muzzleloader tho.

Scope choice on first LRH rifle - Tikka T3x 6.5Creedmoor

Hey gents, I am building my first semi-LRH gun right now for an antelope hunt this fall. Tikka T3X stainless/fluted in 6.5creedmoor. It will likely end up being my go-to deer gun here in Nebraska as well. I doubt I will be poking much past 300, but for some reason, the idea of capped turrets...
